I am Vice Chair of the Environment and Agriculture Committee in the State House

This committee is a standing committee as established by House Rule 31(f). 

“It shall be the duty of the Committee on Environment and Agriculture to consider all matters concerning agricultural and farm problems of the state, physical land use including current use, the various agricultural organizations, the protection of the state’s environment from forms of pollution other than air or water pollution, waste management issues, and such other matters as may be referred to it.” –

I am a member of the Sullivan County Delegation. 

The Legislative Branch, the County Delegation, consists of thirteen elected Representatives.  The role of the County Delegation is to approve the necessary funds to operate the County.  I am a member of the  Executive Finance Committee.  The Delegation Executive Finance Committee reviews the Commissioners’ budget, then submits the budget (with any modifications) to the full County Delegation who then vote on the funds. County Delegation minutes may also be attained from the Commissioners Office.

The Sullivan County Offices are in Newport and in Claremont/Unity.
